Draft a source-backed article
Gather source material, create or revise private drafts, and keep publishing decisions inside Prism.
Prism can move AI-assisted research into a private article draft while keeping publishing under user control.
Workflow
Primary steps
- 1Search Prism for relevant sources, notes, claims, and thesis context.
- 2Ask the AI client to create or revise a Writing Studio draft when write tools are enabled.
- 3Review, edit, schedule, and publish only from Prism.
Safe workflow
Ask the AI client to retrieve sources and outline the argument before creating or updating a draft.
When MCP write tools are enabled for the deployment and explicitly authorized by the user, the client can create or revise private Writing Studio drafts.
For drafts with inline images or visualizations, have the client place stable markers such as [[visual:revenue-chart]], upload or create the visual, then call insert_article_visual_block to replace the marker without rewriting the whole body.
MCP cannot publish, schedule, delete, send subscriber emails, or update published posts.
Review checkpoint
Before publishing, open the draft in Prism, check citations and claims, add any missing context, and publish through the Prism UI.
