What uses my Prism-managed AI allowance?+
Model tokens used by Prism-managed Chat, Project chat, and background Work runs count toward the rolling allowance. Deep and standalone research use their separate monthly run quotas.
When do managed AI limits reset?+
The limits use rolling 6-hour and 7-day windows. Capacity returns gradually as earlier usage falls outside each window; there is no single weekly reset time.
What happens when I bring my own model-provider key?+
Chat and Work turns routed to your active OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter key do not consume Prism-managed AI. Your provider may charge you directly, and all other Prism plan limits still apply.
What is the difference between an AI client and an AI provider?+
An authorized AI client, such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Codex, connects to your Prism knowledge through MCP or OAuth. A model provider supplies the model Prism calls for Chat and Work. Direct Prism API keys for custom REST workflows are included on Standard and Pro.
